Rosemary is an herb that looks like a tiny stem from an evergreen tree. It is characterized by a wonderful and strong pine-like fragrance and pungent flavor. The leaves are flat and deep green in color on top and silver-white on the underneath. It is available all throughout the year.

Rosemary is a good source of Vitamin A, iron, calcium, and Vitamin B6.

Health Benefits/ Medical Use
Rosemary helps strengthen our immune system and improve blood circulation. It also treats indigestion. It is also considered a memory booster and fights free radical damage in our brain. It helps prevent brain aging as well as cancer. Studies also show that it is an effective anti-inflammatory and an anti-tumor agent. It promotes eye health and is used for the treatment of macular degeneration.

Rosemary is best used in the kitchen. It is added in cooking as spice.
